A New DGP for West Midlands
 
Recently a large number of West Lancashire Allied Masons made their way on a wet Saturday morning eventually arriving into the sunshine at Ashburton Masonic Hall situated in Burton on Trent.

The first order of the day was an enjoyable Bacon Barmcake and a cup of Tea.

The reason for the outing was not only to attend the District Meeting for West Midlands, but to witness the Installation of Joe McCollum as the new District Grand Prefect  for West Midlands.  Joe takes over as DGP following the retirement of Cliff Bull who had held to office as D.G.P for 11 yrs.

Ready for the Banquet
A total of around 120 members and guests from all around the UK attended the meeting, and 110 Brethren later enjoyed an excellent four course Banquet in the company of friends from both the District of West Midlands and other Districts visiting the meeting, many commenting how nice it was to back at this sort of Allied event.
